Hi, I'm Precious! 🙂 I'm a beautifully marked American rabbit with some agouti (wild bunny) coloring her face, ears and eyes tipped in white.
She has long upright years and weighs about five pounds. She is only 6 months old and was surrendered because her owner was not in good health and could no longer care for Precious. Sometimes we change the names of animals that are surrendered, but we decided to keep Precious' name, as she is truly Precious. She was pretty nervous when she first arrived at the shelter, but now after a few weeks, she is learning that it's okay to play and horse around like rabbits do. She climbs through her tunnel and is becoming very trusting of other humans. Sometimes it tough on an animal to adjust to all new surroundings, sounds, and smells, but when rabbits learn that there is nothing that is going to harm them, they, like Precious, start to show their true colors. You need to meet Precious to appreciate her. She doesn't have the "diva" attitude that some female rabbits have but is more reserved and cautious. We love that about her -- give Precious a chance to show you her true colors.
