Hi, my name is Ivy!
Location: Elkridge, MD
adopt a rabbit in Maryland Ivy
Lop Eared • Adult • Female • Medium
Her adoption fee is $75.
Ivy is a pretty 4.5-pound Lop mix bunny that was rescued from a Maryland shelter in May. She's good with her litter box and easy to handle. We don't know how old she is but probably not over two years old, possibly as young as six months. Ivy is now spayed and vetted and ready for her forever home.
"Friends of rabbits: We are a small group of working professionals, who in our spare time take in rabbits in need from overwhelmed local shelters and foster them in our own homes. When people adopt from Friends of Rabbits, they truly save a life, enabling our foster volunteers to pull another rabbit in need from local animal control facilities. Our rabbits come from the top of the euthanasia list, often within hours of being put to sleep for lack of space, temperament, and physical imperfections. We do not discriminate between the shelter rabbits that we take in."

Hi, my name is Yikes!
Location: Baltimore, MD
adopt a rabbit in Maryland Yikes
Bunny Rabbit • Young • Male • Medium
Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Yikes is a young male bunny found on a construction site in Baltimore. He needed medical care when he first brought into foster care but over a few weeks he has grown and started to improve in his litterbox habits - mostly peeing and pooping in the litterbox with just occasional accidents. He is still learning about litterbox habits when out of his cage. From the start he took medicine from a syringe eagerly and gave kisses. While he doesn't mind being held and pet, he does like to explore - jumping onto anything that will make him tall.
